THE WILL OF GOD

2 Peter 3:10-11 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness.

Time is coming when there will be no more Social media, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc. When there will be no more houses, airplanes, cars, currencies, etc. When this mortal body will be no more. 1 John 2:17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

Are you doing the will of God? Are you using your intelligence, talents, skills, strengths, money, resources for the glory of God? Do you have the consciousness of eternal life? Are you helping the poor & needy? Are you defending the orphans & widows? Are you preaching the eternal gospel? Is God pleased with you?

Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.
What is heaven recording about you? Or are you selfish, arrogant, earthly conscious, and men pleaser? If we seek to please men, we cannot be the servants of Christ (Galatians 1:10). Are you walking in love & humility or are you walking in hatred, jealousy, bitterness, unforgiveness, and anger?

Let's live for that which is eternal. Let our lives bring glory to the Lord of glory (Christ Jesus our Lord). Let our lights so shine before men that they may see our good works and glorify our Father which is in heaven (Matthew 5:16). Whoever does the will of God will live forever. Then, there shall be no more fight of faith, no more hope, no more persecutions or trials, no more oppositions, no more tears, but only righteousness, love, peace, joy & glory. 

Revelation 21:1,4,6 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.

INVESTING IN ETERNITY

(Written by Christian Uzoechi) My brothers and sisters in Christ, the Lord cometh. Very soon, at the sound of the trumpet, we are going to meet the Lord in the air. What are you living for? For His glory or for your glory? Are you living for yourself or are you living for the King of kings?. Very soon, the unfaithful shall weep; but the faithful shall receive a crown of glory that fades not away.  Are you investing in eternity? Is your heart after the Father's heart?. It is foolishness to measure what you are doing for God with what others are doing for God, for much given is much required. Seek the glory of God alone, walk in love and be graced with humility. Don't live for the praises of men, don't live for the recognition or awards of men, for these things passes away, but he who does the will of God abides forever.
